Galaxy R Space Efficient Incubator Design

The Galaxy R incubator offers the largest internal space for its size of any CO2 incubator. The 170-litre internal chamber volume is contained within a 75x60x65cm unit, which can be easily placed on or under a laboratory bench.The incubator is made from 304 bright-annealed stainless steel for easy cleaning and reduced contamination risk. The outer door is a precision plastic molding.

The unique direct heat system, combined with a sophisticated microprocessor, ensures a stable temperature control with minimal gradient and prompt temperature
recovery with no overshoot.

Fully Programmable C02 Auto Zero
Automatically referencing the infra red CO2 sensor to atmosphere means that there is no need for user intervention or alteration to chamber conditions. This ensures that the system works with stability and maximizes accuracy.

 

Galaxy R Incubator Intelligent Control System 

Incubator Control PanelThe "Galaxy R Incubator Intelligent Control System" is so flexible and comprehensive that it can be tailored to suit individual user preferences. The door mounted display unit incorporates an advanced two level alarm system; on-screen help file and a graphical data logging system. Up to 72 hours of data for temperature, CO2, alarm, auto zero and power functions can be reviewed on screen or downloaded to computer.

Galaxy S Incubator Intuitive Control System

Mounted on the chamber door, this keypad controls the incubator and incorporates an audiovisual alarm system. With only four keypad switches, it is extremely user friendly and independent tests have shown it provides excellent temperature stability over the long term.

 
 


MiniGalaxy A and E Personal Incubators

 

MiniGalaxy Incubator

Personal incubators for the separation of sensitive samples to reduce cross contamination risks. The new MiniGalaxy Personal CO2 Incubator continues the fine manufacturing tradition established in the RS Biotech Galaxy series. Two models are available. The sophisticated Mini A supports a wide range of options and carries the full Galaxy 'R' controls package. This is backed up by the simpler and highly cost-effective Mini E.

Small footprint with 50 liter capacity. Occupying only 48 x 47cm of bench space, the small footprint allows these incubators to be truly laboratory efficient and financially friendly.

The Unique Incubator Single Door System:

Unlike most CO2 incubators which have two doors, MiniGalaxy models have one heated, double glazed door with an intergral viewing window which allows observation without disturbance to cultures. Thus, temperature, CO2 and humidity levels can be maintained without risk of fluctuations, but entry can be achieved more easily by a single door opening.

Seamless Internal Chamber

Both models boast a generous, space-efficient 50 lire capacity. The inner chamber is produced from deep drawn stainless steel. It has no welded seams and is therefore extremely simple to clean effectively. Each model features RS Biotech’s new shelf/racking system which can be completely removed, to leave only smooth surfaces.
