Sperm
preparation medium
SpermRinse™
is designed for preparation of spermatozoa. It can be used
for washing of sperm, swim-up procedures and dilution of
SpermGrad™ for density-gradient centrifugation. If
the sperm are to be used for IVF or ICSI, it is recommended
to make the final wash in IVF™-medium. SpermRinse™-20/100
is a modified HTF medium, containing bicarbonate, HEPES
and Gentamicin. The antibiotic is active against most common
bacteria in semen.
SpermRinse™
30/100 is ready-to-use after pre-equilibration at +37°C
and 5% CO2 atmosphere.
